    1. FAQ:
      1. Q: How to deal with Geocell installation in road sections with high groundwater levels to prevent water damage to the subgrade?
      A: First, lay a 200 - 300mm thick gravel drainage layer at the bottom of the subgrade. Then, choose Geocell with a water - permeable structure (such as HDPE Geocell with 2mm diameter drainage holes on the cell walls). During installation, ensure the Geocell is slightly inclined (slope 1% - 2%) along the road direction to guide water to the side ditches. Additionally, set up perforated drainage pipes (diameter 110mm) at the edge of the Geocell every 10 - 15m to discharge accumulated water in a timely manner.
      1. Q: In cold regions, will the freeze - thaw cycle damage the Geocell - reinforced road subgrade? How to avoid it?
      A: High - quality HDPE Geocell has good low - temperature resistance (- 70℃ to + 110℃) and can withstand general freeze - thaw cycles. To further prevent damage, the following measures should be taken: use non - frost - heave filling materials (such as gravel with a frost heave rate ≤ 1%); increase the Geocell cell height by 20% - 30% compared to normal temperature areas to enhance load - bearing capacity; and lay a 500mm thick insulation layer (such as extruded polystyrene board) under the Geocell in severely cold regions (annual average temperature ≤ - 10℃).
